A) View of second floor penthouse.
Enclosed veranda, open terrace and small covered pool that can also be enclosed
The enclosed veranda can be converted into an office area, study, den, TV room or day lounging bedroom. It can be used as an extension of your living area or a play area for children. There is an extra bathroom for visitors on the landing. The covered veranda leads to an open terrace with a private pool and a majestic view of the ocean.
B) The ground floor veranda and front of the mansion
This veranda looks over the garden and 300 swaying coconut palms. It runs along the entire front and side of the villa and is connected to the kitchen via a back walkway and corridor.
C) Wood-panelled ceilings
Triple French folding doors that extend to the floor open the space completely. The ceiling boasts wood panelling, while a traditional wooden railing on the staircase leads to the upper floors.
D) The second floor
A simple, yet open space; verandas are positioned to face the mountains while protecting you from the elements. Prominence is given to balconies and verandas in villas 3 and 4.They are also practical responses to the climate. In terms of play of light and shadow, and for the sense of protection they offer, balconies and verandas are architecturally important.
E) Double doors leading to the balcony on the second floor/penthouse. The landing leads to double wood and glass doors opening into a private balcony. The veranda is enclosed.
F) The mansion has four bedrooms
All bedrooms have walk-in closets and dressing rooms. Two have enclosed additional balconies that can be used as a study or den. The dressing room is completely covered and done up in Burma teak.
